Kara Strings is a premium London-based string ensemble providing live music for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across the UK. Available as solo violin, violin & cello duo, string trio, string quartet and a signature 6-piece ensemble, each performance is tailored to suit the venue, atmosphere and style of the event.
Founded by violinist Arda Karakaya, Kara Strings brings together highly skilled musicians trained at leading UK conservatoires, including Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music. The ensemble's musicians regularly perform with major UK orchestras including London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Kara Strings has performed for clients including Netflix for the series Bridgerton, Warner Bros., Samsung, Adidas, Universal Music and the Royal Family.
From elegant wedding ceremonies and receptions to private functions and corporate events, Kara Strings provides refined live string performances with carefully curated repertoire and bespoke arrangements tailored to each occasion. An extensive repertoire of over 650 songs spans classical, contemporary pop including Bridgerton-style string arrangements, Bollywood and film music.
